James is an illustrator based in London. He draws a wide variety of subject matter, both on location and in the studio, using dip pens, pots of ink, pastels, watercolour, and brushes.
His work has been commissioned internationally and published in several books including fully-illustrated publications: Studios of Their Own: Where Great Artists Work (2024); The Royal Palaces: Secrets and Scandals (2024); and Rooms of Their Own: Where Great Writers Write (2022). The latter has been translated into Italian, German and Korean editions.
